Managers brawl in Alaska Baseball League game

If Kevin Griffin wanted to get his team fired up, mission accomplished.

The manager of the Peninsula Oilers of the Alaska Baseball League got into it with his counterpart in the other dugout, Mike Grahovac of the Anchorage Bucs, throwing haymakers and sparking a bench-clearing brawl Wednesday night.

A couple of Alaska Baseball League managers get into a fistfight during a game earlier in the week.

Grahovac was tossed for arguing balls and strikes in the top of the 14th inning with the score tied 3-3 and started yapping with Griffin as he made his way off the field, KTUU-TV reported, setting off the rumble.

When the dust settled, Griffin’s Oilers erupted for six runs to win the game, 9-3.
